Archaeological walking in the Natural park Sierra Nevada to “Cerro de la Encina”
Discover the Cerro de la Encina archaeological site is just 15 min. of Granada, you will also know about the formation of these beautiful mountains, which are part of the Sierra Nevada natural park. This is the palaeo-environment where the ancient people of Cerro de la Encina lived.

HOW TO GET THERE
From Granada take the bus 183 to Monachil at the bus stop is in Paseo de Los Basilios (next to Paseo del Salón). The bus leaves 10 minutes past each hour.
By car, you have to take the Ronda Sur of Granada, direction Sierra Nevada. After that, take the second exit direction La Zubia-Cájar-Monachil and then follow the signs to Monachil
