We will give you a map which will indicate where you can find the clues to help you discover the main features of this interesting route and who knows…maybe if you are lucky you will find the fascinating treasure of Isabel of Moctezuma.
The impressive canyon is one of the most beautiful spots of the low mountain of the Sierra Nevada. Its trail leads us to cross several hanging bridges, the biggest is more than 60 mts high above the Monachil river.
Have fun while you discover the Sierra Nevada, its unique eco-system and miraculous geology.

How to get there
From Granada take the bus 183 to Monachil at the bus stop is in Paseo de Los Basilios (next to Paseo del Salón). The bus leaves at 10 minutes past each hour.
By car, you have to take the Ronda Sur of Granada, direction Sierra Nevada. After that, take the second exit direction La Zubia-Cájar-Monachil and then follow the signs to Monachil.
