Discover this beautiful and historical walk, just half an hour from Granada. Amazing view points, riverside vegetation, bandit runs and prehistory all took place in this ancient path named Velillos. Water found its way through mountains creating the deep and narrow canyon of la Hoz, where nowadays there is a long hanging bridge.
Recently, the ancient muleteer trails have become proper pathways, which join Moclín, Tózar and Olivares with its main historical points, where in ancient time bloody battles between Arabs and Christians took place.
Discover interesting places such as the view point of Buena Ventura (Good Fortune), the leisure area named “Fuente de la Corcuela” (Corcuela spring), the prehistoric paintings from the Neolithic epoch, and the beautiful town of Moclín constructed around an impressive Arabic Castle.
